I really should be sleeping right now, since I’ve got to be up in about 8 hours, but there’s thunder and lightning going on (rare for LA), and I just don’t want to sleep. I love a good thunderstorm.

thunderstorms are awesome! I find them to be very relaxing to hear/watch on an otherwise quiet night.

Weather report this morning for my area (Torrance) says to expect a high of 85 with a chance of passing thunderstorms. Yesterday started off overcast and hit just over 90 degrees! What a wacky start to the summer this year has brought.

I’m glad to have stumbled onto you blog because I’ve been out of LA on the E Coast from 6/22 until tomorrow AM and I didn’t even know I missed that rarity — rain in the LA summer!
