#94. More of a novella?

Stephen King book

Well, I procrastinated my way into another completed thing. I read Stephen King’s The Colorado Kid, which I think is probably more of a novella than a book. It’s a quick read, obviously, and it’s a satisfying-yet-unsatisfying story. On one hand, it’s a mystery with no conclusion, on the other, a tale about how the stories of our life are often left without resolution. I liked it, and I didn’t.

So, I’m crossing this one off, but my Stephen King craving is unmet, so I’ve put Everything’s Eventual on my library hold list.

Quick Update on #7 (Finish my Programming Class)… Well, it should have said “Actually start, then finish my programming class.” I just got started today, once I straightened out all of the network ID and software issues. I’m going to have to fly through it if I want to finish without getting a six-month extension, but it’s possible. Of course, my head is swimming now, since I’ve been slugging my way through Java at rapid pace all day.

Time to take a break again!
