#54. Fear Factor, Blogger-Style

Tonight, with the help of my friends Victor, Amy, and Amy’s friend Ginny, I completed #54: Eat something I think is disgusting. To commemorate the event, I have created my first video blog post, using my new iSight camera. Here is…

Fear Factor, Blogger-Style.

I’d also like to mention one quick gripe about Apple right now. I love the iSight. I think it’s fantastic, easy-to-use, well-made. I’ve found a great software application, iVeZeen, to record video using the camera. Tonight, however, was my first foray into the world of iMovie.

Oh. My. Lord. So counter-intuitive. It took me an hour and a half to figure out how to construct the video blog, and it’s still not what I’d consider a polished piece. What took me ages to figure out could be accomplished on an Avid - or even Final Cut Pro - within 2 minutes. I never discovered how to overlap picture and audio in iMovie (or if it’s even possible). WTF?! And I’m a professional editor!

Hey, Happy Belated Birthday! Another Cap! (Mine’s tomorrow.) The vlog was great. You’re a braver woman than me! Didn’t know you’re an editor…I have an old friend (since 1st grade!) who’s an editor in N.Y.

I like the video blog. Happy birthday! And congratulations on finishing #54. I tried sea urching, too, a while ago, and I had a similar reaction - trying really hard not to throw up or think about throwing up. :)

Hey just saw your video blog or as some enjoying the vlogging. I saw your idea and thought this is an awesome idea. If you need some help with 15-17 let me know. I have found that if you try to change some things in your life to binary makes it a bit easier. I love this clock for example. Binary Clock Takes a while to get used to. But you will love it in the end.

Love the blog.

In the interest of multitasking, Amy and I both took pictures of you eating that urchin. So you get one more friend to photograph you and #69 is done too (I figure you should get at least 2 items off your list for eating that!).

Howdy Melanie,
My friend Christopher told me about your website. I love it. :) I’m going to make my own list now. All because of you. Thanx.

Chrissy

P.S. I hope you accomplish everything.
